OLEV Grant

Here at Applegarth we are proud to be one of a few OLEV (Office For Low Emission Vehicles) approved EV charger installers in Queenferry & North Wales. Approval from OLEV means that we are able to install EV charge points under the following schemes:

• Electric vehicle home charge scheme
• Workplace charge point scheme
• On-street residential charge point scheme

Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme

The electric vehicle home charge scheme provides funding for up to 75% (up to the cost of £500) of the cost of one single point EV charger. To qualify for the grant you must meet the following criteria:

• Vehicle must of been purchased after the 1st of April 2015
• Must have an eligible electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle
• Must be the registered owner or leaseholder
• Must have off-street parking
• The EV charge point must be installed by an OLEV approved installer
• The EV charge point must be placed in reasonable distance of the electricity distribution board.

Workplace Charge Point Scheme

The workplace charge point scheme was introduced to support businesses who are considering installing EV chargers for their employees or customers. The scheme provides £300 off the cost of purchasing and installing a single socket EV charge point. Businesses are able to claim the grant for up to a maximum of 20 Chargers.

On-Street Residential Charge Point Scheme

We work closely with local authorities to provide on-street residential charging solutions under the On-Street Residential Charge Point Scheme.
