Applegarth provide electric vehicle charging solutions for domestic and commercial clients across the Burnley & Lancashire. As a NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting) approved electrical contractor we install a range of EV charging points, from a simple 3kW home charger to a 50W commercial rapid charge point. We are also accredited by OLEV, which means we can install EV chargers under the OLEV grant scheme.
What Is OLEV?
OLEV is the government Office for Low Emission Vehicles, which aims to provide support for low emission vehicles across the UK. One of their main targets, is to reduce air pollution on UK roads, by providing £900 million in funding to develop the infrastructure and use of ultra-low emission vehicles. The OLEV grant scheme aims to tackle the underdeveloped electric vehicle charge point infrastructure by providing funding for EV charge point installation for domestic and commercial markets.
