OLEV Grant
Applegarth are proud to be approved by the governments OLEV (Office For Low Emission Vehicles) to install EV charge points in Wales, as part of the OLEV grant. The grant was introduced by OLEV to encourage drivers and businesses to adopt electric cars and electric vehicles. Grant funding for EV charge points is currently available under the following schemes:
- Electric vehicle home charge scheme
- Workplace charge point scheme
- On-street residential charge point scheme
Electric Vehicle Home Charge Scheme
The electric vehicle home charge scheme offers grant funding for up to 75% (up to the cost of £500) off the cost of the purchase and installation of one single point EV charge point.
Workplace Charge Point Scheme
The workplace charge point scheme offers up to £300 off the cost of the purchase and installation of a workplace EV charge point. The grant can be claimed for up to 20 single point EV chargers or 10 double socket EV chargers.
